The lead pierces my skin
And the blood just pours out
I can’t find my mind
I am lost in a cloud

The battlefield is gone
The butterflies roam free
I’m in a small meadow
Please let me be

My eyes are now closed
And I’m back where I was
The bombs sound behind me
This fight’s a lost cause

No one is losing
But everyone dies
All I see now is
The blood in their eyes

I look at my body
I’m a mess of a man
I want it to end now
How much can I stand?

So today was the last day of exams for me. High school is done! Only a couple of days till grad and my heart has never been aching more than it is now. I want to take this time to thank all of my subscribers (I’m still astonished to realize that I have quite a few) and I’m glad there are people out there who actually enjoy my work. Maybe now that I’m going off to University I’ll have more things to post about. I’m going to Queen’s by the way, if anyone was wondering. It’s up in the quaint little town of Kingston, Ontario. I’m excited! 🙂

Anyways, blogosphere…
stay frosty 😉
